For years I've carried a few things in my pockets or in the glove compartment to treat hypos -
Glucose tablets; but these go absolutely solid, like bullets
Chocolate; but that melts or goes messy
Jelly babies; but they get squashed, or go sticky, and attract fluff
I do replace them now & again, but then they get the same problems
Have you any other suggestions, please?
Are glucose gels any good? I see them recommended. I've never used them, but my previous GP says they don't taste very nice, though, of course, I'd eat them if I had to
