Patient Participation Group, I think.
Like @trophywench my hospital results are not included on the Practice system, as it is a different computer system. That is why I have my tests done at GP which are sent off, I can access as soon as they are back at GPs, and my consultant can access them because the tests were done at the hospital. If I get them done at the hospital I can only access them after my consultant appointment.
It is a case of finding your way round local systems, and making them work for you.
Hi. it's a Patient Participation Group and I understand under an NHS instruction all surgeries should have one. What is a PPG?
I can't find one specific link. It has been a moving target, but here are two links. You can Google others:Is there any link to this policy?
I have access to Patient Access but doesn’t seem to be a test results area. Unless my surgery don’t give access to this feature?
Mark, in your shoes, I would check for any letters (which on SystemOnline includes emails) as well as test results. There may be something in an attachment that hasn't been manually keyed into their own data. I know I have found that to be the case between my Endo and GP.
I don't trust them. They told me every year "normal" then this year "doomed" pillocks.
There's a notice on our surgery wall that it's up to patients to ask for their results.
Do you mean letters on the PatientAccess?
Yes.
