Hi Hectorzaza, welcome to the forum
🙂 The thing about fruit is that it can affect your blood sugar levels quite a lot as it contains quite a lot of sugar. Vegetables (except potatoes) generally do not affect your levels nearly as much so it's good to fill up on them. Have you been given a blood glucose meter so you can do your own fingerprick tests? This is the best way to learn how different foods affect you and what you can tolerate best - people vary greatly in this respect. I'd suggest to you look at the Useful Links thread for some good tips:

I'd recommend the book on GL Diet as a good starting point for learning about different food types and how you can combine them to achieve more stable blood sugar levels, also the book by Gretchen Becker is a great introduction to what to expect.
Please feel free to ask any questions, there is usually someone around happy to help!
🙂
p.s. do you have a frog-like friend called Kiki?
