We did increase the upload size of images awhile ago, but it only would allow a size of basically 2mbs.





If you upload by phone and click these two boxes, you can change the file size of the image.

I will have a look at this for a photo on my phone, But I have tried using the forum on my phone it is a lot more fiddly so prefer to use the iPad. It is a shame if the new platform now requires us to use it in the phone. I thought it was intended not to pose this restriction, and it was supposed to be more flexible. I am feeli like a disgruntled old foggy, but I think that there may be quite a few on the forum.

I have no idea what size my photos are I just point the iPad and take the photo. I don’t know how to reduce the size of the photos when I take them. Any idea

Actually now feeling very hacked off with it all.
Time to step away from the machine and make a cup of tea.
It would be good to still be able to use the off subject aspects of the forum
as well as all the Diabetes stuff.

Have given up on, I am getting angry enough as it without this adding to it.

Just tried it my android phone. There is no option offered to resize the image, so it doesn't even work on this. Now I really do need to give up.

This doesn’t work on my Android.
No option of resizing, and nothing in the settings for my camera to change the resolution.
I guess you are on an iPhone. It is important that this works for the android as well.

From what Mike pointed out earlier, the way it is set up you can only resize it once it is uploaded, but if it is too big it won’t upload it to start with

Update: image sizes should be fixed now 🙂
