You usually need a jab for pneumonia every 10 years. Having had pneumonia when I was 16 I would highly recommend having the jab if you can get it.
I've never had a jab for pneumonia, to my knowledge, unless they sneaked one in when I was in hospital! GP has never mentioned it ans she is usually pretty good on these things.

It's recommended on the NHS website for all people with diabetes, and one jab should provide lifelong protection, so you don't need a booster every 10 years as someone thought.

There is massive evidence that the flu jab doesn't cause colds - but the time of year when the jabs are administered is when the sniffles season really gets going.
