Thats great news Lou! What you could do in a few days is eat exactly the same food and try to work out the carbs again - you might get a 7.8 after 2 hours then! We can all help you work it out and try to get those levels down. This way, you will start to work out what your exact ratio is for evening meal. Your doing great - well done!🙂Bev x
Well done on getting started. It really does come more easily once you get the hang of it. I find that now I don't weigh things very often and can guestimate the carbs in most things.
You are starting on quite a high ratio so I wonder if your basal is enough? You can get an idea by comparing your pre bed blood sugar which was in range with your fasting number.
