My son has (as far as I know) taken his first Humilin injection this morning. He did ask my advice as its cloudy (not used to that) and despite rotating and turning it as instructed last night, it seemed to have separated out again this morning, so we did it all again until it was a uniform colour. He didn't get up until 11.30 so it's going to still be in his system at dinner time, so whether he fits any novorapid in today too or not I don't know.
Interestingly, he has definitely had at least one injection of novorapid the past couple of days, so maybe he really is trying at last. He did have a brief conversation with his sister the other day about this time next year there will be 3 cars on our front drive, implying he intends to learn to drive, and she did slip in a comment about him needing a full year of good control before being granted a licence, maybe that has made the difference?
I don't mind what it is, just chuffed he seems to be injecting a bit again. Daren't yet ask about the testing side of things, but will in a day or two. Fingers crossed we are getting somewhere at last, or at least averting a disaster over Christmas.
