@ColinUK, it's been invaluable to me since I was diagnosed in April. If, 8 months ago, someone had told me I'd have lost this much weight and been so healthy by Christmas I'd have laughed at them. It's only thanks to the support on this forum that I've managed it, otherwise I may have just given up.

@jill-mc 🙂 Are you both on a low carb diet? I found a monitor helpful to find out what foods spiked my blood sugars. I used it before a meal and 2 hours after, and have cut out taters, bread, rice and pasta as I found they were the culprits. Having kept a food diary I no longer have to test as regularly as I can check what I can eat without increasing my sugars.
