Who told you that though? A fellow T2 in remission who has lost a lot of weight or a "professional"?

Your hunger is likely because you aren't getting enough fat to provide you with satiety.

I too was morbidly obese when I cut almost all carbs out of my diet.
The effortless weight loss that followed was amazing.
can you say what your daily food is please? I'm really impressed with your stats. Mrs M

Sure my food is mainly meat.
I start the day with 3 coffees with double cream which keep me going for the morning.
Early-mid afternoon I'll have a small meal of cold meats and cheese maybe some nuts.
Then at around 7 I'll have my main meal of the day which is usually a fairly large piece of meat (steak, chops, chicken less often fish or seafood) along with maybe some very low carb veg or mushrooms. For dessert maybe some berries with double cream or some more cheese or unsweetened yoghurt with some berries. That's about it for a usual day.
It's not quite pure carnivore but certainly a ketogenic diet as I'm always producing ketones whenever I measure for them.

Edit to add for full disclosure i have over the past 12 months developed a rather distressing "ice cream" habit which I fear has led to a bit of weight regain so I really wouldn't recommend it. I blame global warming as it started last summer...

thanks - that's similar to me i have let a few bits of protein bagel creep in and some unwanted carbs, which may have scuppered me. the bullet proof coffee sounds nice.

I have started to mix whipped cream and marscapone with some blueberries - it freezes well as a sort of ice cream

last week and half have lost 1kg so it's working again... just cut carbs and increased green stuff and protein

Not really BPC just coffee and double cream .. I tried BPC but it was too much of a faff and the butter never combined properly.

I would try reading The Diet Myth by Tim Spector. An amazing man with many qualifications, I'm sure you would be able to get this from the Library, it certainly changed my mindset.

i can empathize as im hungry too. i do allow myself a matchbox of cheese of i cannot sleep and that helps get me off. Drinking more seems to push things through but can help if you do what mother said not to. Drink before you eat. Also load your plate with salad it makes the plate fuller Remember thin dies not define you happy or heslthy. Go for fitness rather than look .
Remember you are needed and loved
