My paddocks are scorched and I have been sweating like a horse (as oppose to sweating like a pig because....well, they don't) for the past few days. Working outside is no fun in this and still no rain here!
 
Not a drop here, I can’t remember when it last rained and neither can my poor crunchy garden.
 
We've had rain for about 30 minutes here this morning, not enough to cool us down though.
 
It seemed to have rained overnight here, and then a short shower this morning. No storms though, at least nothing woke me up. But the sun is coming back out, and it is still 88.5 °F in this room. Urgh.
