@merrymunky Cogratulations! don’t let anything spoil the time you have now with your gorgeous bundle! I remember feelings of guilt that my eldest had got useless me as a Mother but I was his Mother so he thought I was wonderful. I still find any stress makes me ‘need’ to eat so number 1 de stress. From your photo you look fabulous but it’s how you feel that matters to you so set easily achievable targets and keep going.
If you’re making a list of surrogate Grannies please add me!

So sorry to hear you have tested positive. Hope you have a very mild dose and recover quickly. Please keep us posted when you can. XX

I've only just come back to this thread and seen those lovely pics... so sorry you've tested positive, and wish you all the best for a swift recovery. My daughter still has it and it can take quite a while to recover, so fingers crossed for you @merrymunky xxx ....My new avatar is my 18 mth old granddaughter - they do grow up fast!

Covid result is positive. Three days back at work after keeping safe for so long and I get it. I am furious
Wow that’s annoying, hope you are okay with it and not feeling too poorly.
Take care xx

Sorry to hear your news @merrymunky

A friend of mine recently tested positive and had no symptoms at all. His latest test was clear so fingers crossed that you are OK

Oh no! Really sorry to hear this MM :(

Must be so annoying for you after all the careful precautions you have taken.

Hope your passes swiftly and mildly.

Thanks all. So far it seems mild and today I feel relatively normal but for a bit of a tight chest and feeling tired etc. I’m really hoping this is as far as it goes. I felt horrendous on Tuesday with a crushing headache which is staying at bat.
Poor Eris has suffered though. She’s been snotty for days. Although last night she slept way better.

Oh poor you and Eris how's hubby doing?
My granddaughter had it, like Eris a snotty nose. Although the family went into self isolation all the others tested negative, take care MM and family. xx

Hi Ted,

Hubby is fit as a fiddle and symptom free so I think he’s escaped it. Eris is fully snotty but ok in herself and no temperature.
My Covid headache has returned today with a vengeance so I’m dosing up. Chest and breathing seem ok so I’m hoping I get through the next few days (the dreaded 7-10) ok.

Thanks all. Eris is still snotty but a trooper. My symptoms are stable so praying it will stay this way! Pic from this morning...
