Has anyone heard of this? It appears to be a shortening of the tendons/ligaments at the back of the ankle, resulting in a 'tip toe' walking motion.
I am suffering with painful lumps on the back of my ankles, and cannot bend my toes upwards to my shins. It is especially worse in the morning, as I've not been walking whilst asleep! It eases as I walk around during daytime, but is still painful.
Research on the net points to this condition, with (of course) diabetes being mentioned, that diabetics are pre-disposed to this - surprise, surprise
Any comments???
