well..... I went out for an Indian meal at my fave restaurant tonight with 7 of my friends.
before meal BG was 5.4 (that is really good for me .. I think coz I'd been out walking
2 hours after the meal 6.7 😱 (unbelieveably low)
doesn't seem right does it? I'll test again in an hour before I go to bed
but this is what I had.....Sanshahi - (lamb and chicken deeply marinated overnight with a host of traditional herbs and spices eg sesame seeds, turmeric, saffron and garam masala) along with 2 veggie side dishes Ghobi Bhazi (cauliflower spring onions and coriander) and Saag Poneer (spinach and Indian cheese)
it was altogether delicious and I didn't feel as though I was missing out at all by not having rice and naan...... and I don't feel bloated like I do with rice and naan 🙂
