Does anyone use Salter Arc digital kitchen scales? if so what are your thoughts? I want a new set after someone carelessly lost 3 rubber feet off mine so I want a set I can use for my own stuff (the others were mine too 🙄) xx

I don’t know about the kitchen scales you are interested in, but Salter is a well known name . I’ve been using this one daily for a few years now

I’ve been using these Salter ones for about the last ten years. I also previously had the same model which sadly only lasted about 6 months because I dropped them on the floor! You can’t really blame the scales in that instance.

I have a set (not Salter) that my brother got for me for £4.99 from B&M stores I believe. They work great, but are just basic. Very slim line though. They tare and weigh but they don't have any food info stored in them or anything fancy.

Unfortunately I don't have a B&M anywhere near me and I don't drive or I would've went there xx

We had a lovely folding 3-arm digital scale from a Joseph and Joseph as a gift one Christmas, but I think we were a bit rough with it and it didn’t last that long. Our current digital scales is a very simple inexpensive unbranded one from a popular online retailer. Very neat and slim though (same style as the one @Robin posted), and slot into the side of one of our deeper kitchen drawers at the front.

Begins with A. And pays all but no tax apparently. Does that narrow it down ;D

🙄 so the chances of me finding those exact scales you mention are basically 0% from millions of results! haha xx

I’ll see if I can find them from previous orders...

thanks for looking for me anyway! Yeah the ones I've mentioned that I'm looking at are £9.99 so may just get them direct from Salter, unsure of delivery charge but it's free over £10 so might just have to look in their sale section 🙄 15 year guarantee on all scales though so cant complain 🙂 thanks again Mike xx

"Someone carelessly lost 3 rubber feet off mine"
Any chance that same person could lose the 4th and then they'll be flat and like new again! Ha ha lol

its not that uneven to be honest it just slides about the worktop when I'm trying to weigh things, honestly if I get these then said person can use my old set and I'll be keeping the good new set for just my own use! xx

I use Salter digital scales for cooking, particularly baking. The advantage of the digital scales is that if you put an empty bowl on the scales and then switch on, it sets to zero, so adding ingredients is much less of a hassle. I wouldn’t weigh my regular food, though I remember my mum doing that in the days of black and white TV.

I do still weigh my meals but that's how I cope
