Dad kept in hospital

Hope all goes/went well with your interview Hazel. I don't mean for this to sound wrong but from what you have said your dad may well enjoy all his visits from his healthcare team. Old people often like someone to natter to 🙂

Hi Hazel, I hope the job interview goes well for you.

Just a thought, but is there a Day Centre nearby your dad could go to. There's one near me where older folk can go for company and a bit of fun. They can play cards, see a movie, do crafts or watch telly, have a meal, a hairdo or their feet seen. They also do day trips when there's enough folk interested (and the weather is OK).

Hi Lucy - well that's another interview dome and dusted. Should hear on Friday.

A one of job in a solictors firm, working with the litigation team. A good job. Could learn a lot.

Time will tell.

I know the feeling! But just be yourself and try not worry - get a couple of good nights sleep if you can before then. Really pleased for you 🙂 I'm sure Dad will be pleased also!

Hazel I am thinking about you so much. I know how you feel as my dad means the world to me too. We have some issues at the moment but reading your post has helped me to try and cope as you have gone through a very upsetting time. Sending my love and hugs to you, it is really hard not to feel lost and lonely as this is how I am feeling atm

Your dad is being cared for and I hope to read he is home again very soon. Caring takes it's toll so I hope you can look after your own health. I am relatively new here but feel so much when I read a post like this. Take care

Good luck for Thursday and I hope your Dad is home soon. My Grandad had a care package at home and, once he got used to it, really enjoyed having different people coming and going who he could chat to. Changed his life for the better.

Dad and I are truly blessed to 'know' so many kind people - I would have struggled these last few days, your kindness and good wishes have been so very welcome.

I hope I don't let you down on Thursday - I am trying not to get too excited, as I don't want to be disappointed if it goes belly up.

Big party though if I get Dad home and I get the job this week.
