Good luck!Ah thank you. Got my second CT scan tomorrow so hopefully that gives extra information for the consultant on Monday.

hope you get an update soon @MarkGeordie
I have, on occasion, received referrals with the 'n' and 'e' simply crossed out at the beginning.Well they've wasted no time so far so hopefully they'll be able to sort out whatever it is sooner rather than later.
Want a giggle? Husband had a prostatectomy, nice and neatly done with the Da Vinci robot and back home with catheter and bag strapped to leg - told if any probs, come to A&E and ask for the On call doc for 'that'.
He did have a prob so off we went to A&E as instructed. Asked for person he'd been told to. Waited a bit, then called in to Triage by a nurse, she asked him why he's there so he explained with her saying Yes, she could see what he'd had done on her screen then added that what she was really puzzled by, was why he'd asked to see the On call Neurologist?
Enunciation!
It'll be fine. They'll know what to do mate. Which hospital have you been referred to?
I'm so sorry to hear this Mark. I'm sure you will think of lots of questions in the next few days. Have the hospital given you a key worker? It’s hard not to think the worst and the consultant didn’t want to speculate but the word cancer were mentioned.
I have to have an MRI and two biopsies taken, one of the kidney and one of the lymph nodes in the stomach.
