Hi, am new to all this carb counting and today I went to the supermarket to get the ingredients for the yummy looking gammon and pineapple stirfry that I saw in the recipe section on this site. While I was shopping I saw dried egg noodles on offer, normal and wholemeal. Naturally I thought the wholemeal would be have lower carbs but when I compared the labels I was surprised to find the regular noodles were less in carbs than the wholemeal. What is the rule of thumb when it comes to white or wholemeal food options.
