I'm a complete novice with carbs counting etc. but want to generally keep carbs low. However I'm also interested in occasionally trying higher carb, no-no stuff as a wee treat if it's not going to cause a major spike. For instance, tonight, I had a lean pork chop with three small new potatoes and other veg. I was 7.2 before eating and 9.0 two hours after. Would that be considered a significant increase in the general scheme of things?

2 hours after eating you are looking for no more than a 2-3mmol rise so your results are perfectly acceptable 🙂 x

Thanks, good to know that.

Those figures are fine, Browser.
