Carb free sausages

They are probably the most disgusting sausages I have ever tasted.

Most gluten free sausages are carb free or very low carb as almost 100% meat.

I tend to buy rare breed, or butchers sausages normally.
Usually they are around 95% meat, unless I buy a flavoured variety.
The flour actually soaks up a small amount of fat, and improves the taste and texture for me.
(Heck actually list sugar and gluten free flour in the ingredients)
Chicken Italia are ok though.

Only 0.1g sugar in 2 sausages

Those rare breeds will get even rarer if you keep eating them , do sound nice though.

I love Heck Chicken Italia - just 1.2gm carbs for 2 grilled sausages. Sometimes I take of the skin and squash them together to make a burger patty.

On the topic of sausages, Cauldron were my go to for herby veggie sausages. They did not try to taste of meat but maintained the herbiness that I liked. Unfortunately, they have changed their recipe under the guise of making them vegan (they contained some milk) but, as a result the texture has changed and they have lost some flavouring.
I find Richmond veggie sausages bland, likewise the Quorn ones, Linda MacCarthy ones fatty, the This isn't Pork ones too "meaty" and the Shroom ones have a weird flavour.

Can anyone recommend some favoursome veggie sausages that I can eat when my partner fancies a bangers and mash night?
I see Heck do a version. Has anyone tried them?

I used to like the Cauldron.
Have you tried the M&S Plant Kitchen ones?
Asda do a mushroom based one, rather than the usual pea protein based ones that are popular now.

And if people stop eating them they will cease to exist altogether.

Like Heck sausages, good quality but always to expensive for what they are, own brand supermarket sausages have similar meat content at much cheaper price.

It's an interesting nutritional breakdown.
It does show the issues with there being no actual standards.
It's a bit pedantic, less than 0g of carbs, but 0.1g of sugar?
That's nothing to do with the sausages though, just the label.

We have ASDA gluten free sausages. Lots of different flavours and aroung 2g per 2 sausage. My favourites are the chilli ones.

The Richmond ones you don’t like are my favourite, I like the texture. They have gluten in though so I’m going to try the heck ones or the wicked kitchen ones are on offer in Tesco at the moment, Tesco plant chef are also gluten free.

I use the Richmond ones when I make veggie "chorizo" parcels because they have no flavour to distract from the spicy additions but I like herbiness when eating just bangers and haven't managed to find any nice ones since they changed the Cauldron recipe.

We buy Heck sausages, and usually stock up when they are on offer. We haven't tried their 'chicken' sausages though, as that just doesn't sound right!

The "Meat-free" ones.
(I am mostly vegetarian)
I am vegetarian as well but with a catch! I hate vegetables, so any tips of types of food i could eat would be appreciated.
Sorry I'm just newly diagnosed so it's a lot for me to take in.

If you’re vegetarian but not really eating many vegetables you really can’t be eating a healthy balanced diet. Have you tried every vegetable cooked in many different ways or only tried certain veg cooked certain ways? Perhaps you need to experiment more with vegetables to find the ways you do like them cooked.
