Yep, it's happened to me, quite a lot actually! Although interestingly, it was in the year or so leading up to my T1 diagnosis. I would often get up in the night with a strong urge to eat. And it was always sweet things i needed, so when i was eventually diagnosed, i retrospectively assumed it had been due to low BGs.
It's slightly unnerving to see the aftermath in the morning, yet have no recollection of the deed!
I've seen a documentary about this subject, and for the non diabetics out there who do it, it's actually either a sleep disorder, or eating disorder (can't remember which way round it's classed) but folks can end up cooking an entire meal without knowing about it, or indeed hurting themselves!
