I used to have the same, though only one Weetabix, but I've since ditched the Weetabix and now sprinkle a handful of crushed walnuts over my berries and Greek yogurt. Walnuts have a fraction of the carbs of Weetabix and are more nutritious (and filling).Hi all

Smooties are not considered very good as the ingredients being blitzed convert to glucose more quickly than the individual components would. Bought ones tend to have banana which is high carb but you could try making your own but you would need to test to see how they affected you before assuming they are OK.Smoothie?
I'm with you on that score, Barbara. I decided at the start of the year to ditch my single Weetabix and sprinkle a handful of crushed walnuts on my berries and Greek yogurt instead, and I wish I'd done it before. As well as feeling more filling it's also halved the amount of carbs in my breakfast.I have found since going low carb that I really enjoy foods that are crunchy in texture.
