Ha ha bet that comes in handy though Lol

There are pranks, and there are pranks. I would liken this one to someone spiking your drinks for a laugh - nine times out of ten it could be OK, but there is a risk of serious consequences. I had my drinks spiked once (pre-diagnosis) and learned about it afterwards and was very angry about it. I'd be even more angry if it happened now as it would have even worse repercussions.

This is why I hardly ever go into the pub and ask for my diet coke in a bottle. The last time someone spiked my drink, (I saw them do it but they didn't know I'd spotted it) they ended up wearing it because I was so cross. I'm not a big drinker and was on anti biotics at the time so it would have had huge effects.

Sure is handy insulinaddict! Makes life as a front row forward a bit more entertaining when you have quite a bit of agression in the system. Getting dumped the same day as a match has the same effect I find! Much anger to channel into someone lol. As you can guess when I play rugby I subscribe to the school of thought that says "go through the man not around him"

Hi all, after some advice, while i was on the steroids my bs was always high, when it went too high i could tell cause i got angry, proper rage etc, well since coming off the steroids 6 week ago my bs have been around the 6 or 7 mark before meals (yay me) for the last week though i have been having hypos. not bad ones, 3 ish but today i have stayed lowe no matter what i've done and again i am mega angry, does that happen to anyone else??
I am similar when my blood sugar is high I am Angry and quite unpleasant to loved ones. I have to really concentrate at work not to bite everybody's head off! The anger whilst I am high does not need a trigger its simply there and quite hard to control if I have a bee in my bonnet. At that stage I just want the world and everybody to jog on!

Hi angle130, where I have had steroid injections I have had to double my insulin as it causes lots on insulin resistance, so have successfully come off the steroids it does not surprise me that your BGs have dropped, if you are on the same insulin as whilst on them. Just test, test, ... to find what insulin you now need.

As for stroppy moments when low. Yes.
My husband now spots the problem if I ignore a low (too busy to stop -Not sensible I know).

Just after diagnosis I felt very low and could not work out how to use the test kit. My husband suggested I look for the instruction book!!! My rather ' surprising response' prompted home to get me some juice.

I get very snappy when my sugars are low. When I get high my mood becomes the frustrated, quietly bubbling over kind of anger.
