Thanks Barbara. Woke up this morning after been cooried in with cold remedy, Vicks, and scarf feeling no bad after lots of coughing last night. Thought I felt not bad, phoned work with a wee voice saying I won't be in and phoned gp. No voice at all. Got appointment for 10 with practice nurse and despite not a lot of breath, squeeking and struggling, her last question was "reason for visit?" I suppose this could maybe my normal voice etc. Never mind, happy I am getting checked over. Interestingly BG 13 this morning, thought it might be higher

Hello, just a wee update. Feeling a lot better, still having squeekings, but head fine, cough a bit more under control and feeling stir crazy with a bit of interest in outside world. Got some fresh air doing a bit garden tidying. Not stressing over BG, as I can only fight one thing at a time. Made a pot of lentil soup, so 3 of my 10 a day already.,now for some zzz's. Hope everyody else are fine

Can't believe how much better I am today. Housework, washing, changed my Vicks stinking bed. For anyone else that's been poorly, here's hoping you all feel better. Now for me, back to the job in hand, go chase those BG levels down. Have a good weekend all, and thanks everyone for your support. Xx

Glad you're feeling so much better.
Oh Robin thanks and , so am I. Knew I was improving on Thursday as I was stir crazy.

Funnily enough, my sister has been laid low with a nasty Lurgy which she developed after visiting her son and family in Fife, perhaps there's something Scottish going round! She said when she felt better, she felt suddenly much better.

Glad you are feeling better.
I am begining to get there, I am on my second lot of Antibiotics, rather than give me another 3 day course of another appropriate one, Doctor decided to give me the 7 day one that did the trick a few months ago. Though I am not convinced I have not got the cough thing that is doing the rounds my son has had it, and have had signs I maybe getting it. For 3 days my sugars were high for me, but have started to fall.

There's a few nasty bugs going around. Had one then ok then sciatica which has now left me, now the 2 no lurgy which was no fun. Hope your sister continues to improve.

There's a cough going around lasting about 6 weeks the nurse has said. Hope you continue to improve grovesy. I was really lucky and escaped antibiotics

It seems the 6 week cough follows the cold, and there's nothing they can do for it unless it turns to bronchitis when you'll need antibiotics. I'm still coughing and blowing my nose so waiting for the bettwe weather to arrive.

Hope you feel better soon as well.

So glad you're improved, but you'll not exhaust yourself with all those tasks! The washing alone (and all that ironing) - the thought of it - would tire me!

Carol a bit late to this...been so engrossed with cleaning up this 'pigsty' (reluctantly ...hate housework)...haven't looked in here...good to hear you are on the mend...such a relief when we get back to feeling right!...good idea to 'fight' one battle at a time...no point in worrying about those BG's when you are ill...I have no doubt they will be the lower numbers soon enough...another day of tidying...cleaning...my week of working non-stop took its toll on the house...okay...off to walk Harry soon...have my review next month...determined to do a little better than last time...enjoy your weekend.

Don't overdo the garden and housework, you don't want to relapse! Glad you're feeling better. 🙂

Blimey, if you're felling that much better and doing the housework, Carol, you don't fancy coming over and doing mine, do you?🙂

Hate when the pigsty takes over from the house. Clutter just goes to clutter like a sticky magnet. . Tired now but have had a good day. Don't work too hard
