Before Tea/Evening Meal

Another 6.7 for me on this super sunny day....

4.8 this beautiful day a bit chilly in the breeze. I also had a piece of coffee and walnut sponge lunch time :D
My favourite cake that i have resisted since diagnosis.
5.9 for me tonight with gammon and tomatoes for dinner this evening.

Don't know if I qualify for this thread yet but given my HbA1c came back at 109 a little over a week ago after being a 45 avg for 3 years 11.8 isn't that bad is it?

4.3 for me.

Now the daily thought, what to eat for supper? Suspect we will have an omelette with a side salad. Fortunately we are not foodies, we eat to live, not live to eat.

Probably pretty in line with the HbA1C result.
Time to implement some of the changes that were discussed in your other thread. Worth making use of the time to do that while you are waiting for your appointment.

Porridge for breakfast and salad for lunch, rest of the family is having home made chicken pie, with lots of vegetables in and out, another salad for me.

Yum, I admire your discipline . Alas, it's s all or nothing for me o_O

Any reason you could not have the pie filling with the veg instead of salad otherwise you will get fed up quickly.
Swap your porridge for yoghurt and berries or eggs and that will allow you more leeway the rest of the day.

I love porridge but avoid as pretty high in carbs and sends my BG soaring. Maybe like @Leadinglights mentions try swapping for something lower in carbs for breakfast.

was 4.5 tonight despite a Tesco egg& cress sandwich for lunch today, just heading to bed & 6.6 now,

A third 6.7 in a row for me tonight - I seem to be stuck in a rut.

Wouldn't give up my morning porridge for anything....
