Before Tea/Evening Meal

5.7 today after helping my daughter to set up her new greenhouse and lay some paving in it. So bit of exercise. Treat of small jacket potatoe tonight with tomatoes and cheese (don't usually eat potatoes).
 
5.4 for me.

Sounds like many of us spent today in the garden. Me as well, clearing up the debris from Winter. I really don't mind doing all that work, it's the aches and pains that appear later on I have an issue with. Sigh.

a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon watching football
the team I support who had invited me to be a guest of today
drew so that was a bonus

Yes we are both aching all over but worth it as looking great and very happy daughter. She has wanted a greenhouse for so long.

Is your greenhouse heated? We are itching to fill our new greenhouse with the trays sat in my window sill but keep reading people say still too cold and chance of frost not past.
 
4.0 for me, the 2nd lowest I have ever had. The lowest according to my food diary was 3.9.

The snowdrops and solitary outside are still ok and have managed to survive the heavy frosts of the last few nights.

Morning Loobyloo, No it's not heated we have a fan that comes on if it drops to low, i'm also longing to get everything planted out hopefully it's warming up now. Have a good day. Lesley
 
Evening all.
6.7 for me today. Chicken in a low cal mushroom sauce and vegetables this evening. Followed by low carb jelly and thick double cream.
Sunny again cold start with some frost. Spent today preparing for patio in front of the new greenhouse and fitting a water butt to the gutters on it.

Hope your Birthday dinner was nice last night. We have potted a few of the hardier seeds today out in the greenhouse as ran out of space indoors. Fingers crossed.
 
4.1 for me.
Spent most of the afternoon reading Zadie Smith's The Fraud, actual historical novel (Victorian England) full of characters whose names I recognise. Great afterrnoon, no wonder my BG was 4.1!!
