I had my first one in December last year after diagnosis in SeptemberI not heard anything from the hospital about my appointment in the last 18 months.
Mine got cancelled last April, and I haven’t heard anything yet, so it’s now 2 years since I had one.I not heard anything from the hospital about my appointment in the last 18 months.
I had mine a couple of weeks ago. A few months later than usual due to Covid restrictionsI not heard anything from the hospital about my appointment in the last 18 months.
Likewise I’m not expecting any issues to be spotted as Vision Express have had a good look in my eyes over the last month quite a few times!I’m off on Thursday for my eye screening. I got an apology in the appointment letter for the delay. I know there’s nothing wrong - Specsavers couldn’t see any problem when they did a home visit sight test.
I had one last summer (delayed by a few months).I not heard anything from the hospital about my appointment in the last 18 months.
Ditto - except March last year and February this year, letter asking me to ring and make an appointment which I did and it was done where and when I'd arranged to suit us - 'us' because husband has to take me! (obviously we can't drive ourselves back from wherever even if we could drive there LOL)Mine last April was cancelled but I had mine in March this year.
In my area some of the screening is done at various locations around the county. My last one was in a function room in the neighboring town, I have had them in offices, a pharmacy, GP surgery, not my own, and the offices for the screening service. My GP practice does its own eye screening - and my first screening is in 5 weeks.
I've heard where GPs have to rely on the city's eye hospital, the backlog is unfortunately enormous.
