Ok so I understand that protein will raise bg levels. So today I thought I would try an experiment, just eat protein's with very low fats, to see how it affects my levels. Now I/m not the best with foods, so if I am getting it wrong please tell me.
Breakfast 3 hard boiled eggs
Lunch grilled tuna with toasted mushrooms, garlic, raw carrot, red onion, red pepper and lettuce
Dinner Grilled chicken breast, with salad (no dressing, just salt and pepper)
So no carbs and very low fats
woke 6.30 with level at 6.6, 3 boiled eggs at 7 by 9 i'm up to 9.6 already
I knew it would go up, but to me there behaving like carbs. Any ideas
