After the disaster with baked beans it now appears that porridge is sending my blood sugars sky high. Prior to breakfast of porridge made with water and some blueberries this morning my level was 6.3 (even though I woke up an hour before to 5.4); 45mins later my sugars were 10.2 😱 A 45min walk to work lowered my sugars an hour later to 5.7.
So 2 x low GI are bad for me. Need some suggestions for breakfast.......
Going to try the Bergen bread with lunch of tuna salad and a lemon and lime sugar free jelly so hoping it was the beans and not the bread
