Just used one which I realise isn't on here 🙄

HCP - Health Care Professionals

What a great thread well worth the reading or WAGTWWTR !!!!!!

DP - Dawn Phenomenon
CHO - Carbs/Carbohydrate
CP - Carbohydrate 'portion' typically a unit of 10g CHO

Interestingly CHO is actually derived from the fact that carbohydrates consist mainly of Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen. Strictly speaking, it's an abbreviation, not an acronym .....

My personal favourite, and a great party piece (I know, you're all jealous of the parties I go to!) is NICAM: Near Instantaneous Compounded Audio Multiplexing.
Sadly, now falling into insignificance with the advent of digital transmissions :(

in that case JFGI ( Just ******* Google It ) 🙂

When I worked in a GP office, (issuing scripts) I used to ask a certain doc if it was ok to give this or that, and his reply was SUE JFGI !!!! lol :D
