More of the same AJ - I burst out laughing when my b/f was moaning about how the after effects of treatment for her breast cancer had had effects on her in ways one would never imagine - case in point when I asked Like what? was when she knelt down to do anything - apparently she could no longer regain her normal upright stance, without grabbing on to something eg a kitchen worktop, for assistance.
I was pleased to inform her I'd had to start doing that probably at least a year before her - though I'm actually almost 6 whole weeks younger than she - the trouble is of course we never like to accept any sign of AD whatsoever whether it's grey hair or something actually debilitating. I know I had a DEXA scan of my hips once which showed thinning on one side and was astounded to discover 'it's normal' for whatever age I happened to be at the time. Early 50s I believe - however by 67 the ortho surgeon who operated on my knee told me there was no sign of ageing anywhere around my knee whether in bones or soft tissue - so progression isn't inevitable by any means.
Hence of course I send you hugs - but also hope that you have a bit of old fashioned good LUCK, mate!
