Hi
I am 4.5 weeks pregnant and I'm grateful that my blood sugar isn't going sky high after meals, but it seems to want to stay at 7 all the time. I would ideally like it lower but corrections aren't working for me! I have corrected several times within a few hours after meals, but it wants to be between 7 and 11. After every meal and often between them. It's very odd.
I'm on a medtronic pump and my team are planning to move me to an Ypsomed pump "once the hypos have stopped" but I've not had any yet... perhaps this is to come! I am seeing them next Tuesday so will raise this then. I don't know how to feel about the Ypsomed pump, not keen on having to have my smartphone on me all the time to be honest, but it seems to be the best option.
My daughter is now 7 and I don't really remember the early days of my pregnancy with her, but don't remember experiencing this!
