Hi all,
Last night Alex had a hypo after playing football for 40 minutes - he was 3.2 so had 3 x jelly babies and a biscuit. 15 minutes later tested again and 3.1 - so had the same jelly babies and a biscuit - 15 minutes later the same again! This went on for 1 xhour until finally we got him up to 4mmols! (i even spoke to heidie as i was so worried) - that has never happend before as his hypos treatment has always done the trick.
Any suggestions as to why all of a sudden it took an hour to stabilise him?
He had a pizza for dinner about 20 minutes before playing - so i am wondering whether the insulin hit too early for the pizza and then created the hypo?
