Hello , I have been diagnosed T2 for about a year now, and have had the usual journey with Metfartin, initially I had stomach upsets and the squits, but I am now on the slow release version.
But I do suffer from stomach wind, which makes me uncomfortable, sometimes I get it bad at night, and get very unpleasant 'Duvet lifters' , if you get my meaning,
Is there anything to mitigate it ? Also my appetite is shot to pieces, which means I often don't eat much, very small meals, but my weight has remained constant ,around 12 stone for a 6 ft 2 tall bloke, tho' it has to be said I was overweight before diabetes presented itself, I was very active,so symptoms didn't show up before I slowed down with a less busy working life, and early retirement.
