Hi everyone
So I’m 3 weeks post diagnosis. My eyesight is shocking. Really blurry and I’m struggling. I have glasses for laptop work but not needed pre diagnosis for anything else. Literally now without glasses I can barely see. The world is a blur. Consultant in hospital said it’s the build up of glucose which will slowly dissolve and not to rush out and get New glasses etc. I have had to get 3.5 strength readers in the meantime as my own glasses are ok-ish but not strong enough. It’s really horrible and making me anxious on my feet and getting the tube to work etc is hell. I went back to work yesterday and by the time the day ended my eyes were painful and ended up with a vile headache.
Anyone else had this ?? It’s worrying the heck out of me. I don’t like it at all.
Thanks 🙂
