Anyone else interested in this? Centre of England, easy access by train - around 5 minutes from New Street station. (If you're into bikes and have deep pockets or like to dream then Bicicielo is just around the corner on Temple Street ).

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, this Saturday afternoon is the only time I've been able to book anywhere for my son's birthday party, so that has had to take priority over meeting you lovely lot :-(

Sounds interesting, as I'm only 1 hour away by car. I've never been to a diabetes meet before, and would have been very helpful in the beginning sorting my life out(very stressful time for my family), only wish I had found this official diabetes uk site sooner. However, I'm not sure if I qualify as I reversed it over a year ago now, so a little apprehensive how I would be greeted, but more than willing to share what I did if it's of help to others.

You'd be more than welcome @phonic2k - it's just an informal gathering where people are free to just chat, doesn't have to be about diabetes, but the good thing is that people won't roll their eyes should the topic arise 🙂
