On Saturday I was on travels and out a lunch time. Visited a new place and ordered a salad with bacon. It came with cheese as standard. No worry about carbs there. I discovered when it arrived it also had apple in it. 😱🙄
Unlikely to cause you many problems though Ralph! Sounds tasty! 🙂

I never get what I want when I eat in a cafe. I asked for a cheese omelette and got fries and a salad with it including shredded carrot. I was trying not to eat carrot due to Atkins Induction and the fries goes without saying. I was being good so only ate the omelette and left the rest, with Mum very disgruntled at the waste. Such a hassle.

Yum! apples and walnuts with a salad with a touch of vinaigrette is so tasty. One of my favorites 🙂

The perception of sweetness in the general population is so low, as everything is sweetened to death these days. Even where there is no added sugar the sugar alcohols are ladelled in so as to make it 'taste nice' - bleaugh!!
I would not have been able to eat a salad with apple it would have spoilt it for me.
