According to BBC news - she claims her T2 was out of control during the run up to the election - resulting her less than accurate reporting during election interviews and why she stood down from her shadow position.
Hmn.........
Yes, Ive just watched the Skynews press preview and noted that.
First things first, I'm not as experienced re D as all you lot, and, it is easy to have an opinion of a public figure. By definition that also includes Mrs May.
The glare of our putrid media is unrelenting and any weakness is starkly projected to the baying populace instantly.
Having said that, it does all seem rather convenient and to be honest I have to wonder how many hundreds of thousands of Ds go to work every day, do not get the space or recognition they should, struggle on and somehow or other get through the long irritating days as best they can.
I have D, and find it difficult focusing, realising that simple things are not so bloody simple, struggle to convey that it's not lack of zest, it's reaching into an empty "energy cupboard" .
I think, that on a personal level, it would be humane to remove ANYONE with D from high pressure environments, regardless of position, that includes high ranking Govt people. NOTHING is worth ones health, nor, should that risk be manipulated to gloss over shoddy performances.
I fear that Diane Abbott has latched onto a convenient way out.
I really would rather be wrong about that, either way, I hope she is back to her old self soon. I also hope the person inside Mrs May is soon given space to water the roses, watch telly or wander round in the sunshine.
