I got 4/7 so I can't be diabetic
Well, it's a bit of fun really, and actually contains better advice than a lot of people get from the doctor or nurse at diagnosis! 😱 🙂I got 7/7. Its so badly written though. Sometimes its better to not have desert sometimes it might help other times it makes no difference.
Yes, the care is often very patchyI'm quite shocked about how some of the newer people have been treated. When I got it i had some support and my levels where stable when i left hospital. I've heard of people being let lose after 48 hours, having done one injection themselves with no number to phone for help! Horrible!

I was told by a doctor on the phone and then the next day had 30 minutes with a diabetic nurse. I remember looking at my bag of paraphernalia the next day and not a clue how to inject or how to test. Luckily I knew my friend next door had a son with type one so I arrived at her door in my pyjamas crying and asking for help! Without her I would never have survived. I do know it is good I didn't have to go to hospital so grateful for that.I'm quite shocked about how some of the newer people have been treated. I have heard so many stories like this recently, the more recent ones sound worse. I know the NHS is on its knees but with good control we cost less. Better control is less meds, and testing for that reason alone it makes sense to support us never mind the other complications when it goes wrong!I was told by a doctor on the phone and then the next day had 30 minutes with a diabetic nurse. As I've already said at least twice, LCHF has been successfully used for over 150 years — that's rather long-term for a "fad". 🙄did not realise that anyone that did not agree 100% with LCHF, Atkins and every other FAD, would leave themselves this open.
