Sorry the doctor was not able to acknowledge the huge achievements that you have made. Some of them can only ever see the dark side. (I have one like that who terrified me at diagnosis and was ultra keen to give me medication.) He did not really tell you anything that you did not already know. You have acknowledged that more work is needed and you know how to achieve your goal. You are a work in progress and doing a fantastic job. Don't be downhearted, getting control of this awful condition is boring relentless and takes a lot of effort and there are no days off, but you can and will get brilliant control. Why not give yourself a little treat today and do something that you really enjoy? Forget the negative doctor and concentrate on the great strides that you have already made. As they don't have diabetes it may be difficult for them to really appreciate what it is like. The people who know are on here, on this brilliant forum. I owe my achievements to them and not to the medics. Sending you a hug {}. Keep up the good work. 🙂
