As the title says & I'm looking for a list of protein foods ideal for a (quick) sandwich please.
home made cheese savory, not so quick, but you can make it then store it....🙂
Sounds good - do you have the recipe please? Put it on here for others to see or pm me.
Whats a sandwich? Is that 40g carbs before you fill it. What kind of bread?
Nothing wrong with a sandwich, we still need carbs, as long as we get the balence right and dont over do it.
That'll be essential carbs then, the ones we can't live without.
My mothers method is cooled boiled water in a sieve - it takes seconds! 😉I defrost my frozen prawns by putting them under cold running water works every time and only takes minutes.
I'm not actually sure what a quick sandwich is?. is it quick to make or quick to eat? I presume make. as to filling - whatever you fancy the list is endless. sliced ham, bit of lettuce and squirt of salad cream. If you want it really tasty, buy a smoked ham joint and slice it from cold, much better than the sliced stuff in packets.
