Guys,
was just browsing the web to see if I could find any research linking protein to bG level rises (no luck so far, everything I can see quite emphatically states that pure protein does not affect sugar levels - try telling my body that) and came upon this report by Illinois University:

The extract that particularly spiked my interest (and possibly my anger levels) was the first few paragraphs at the top of page 2. Apparently, just like men, all carbs are the same....?!!!!!!!
