I phoned this morning to make an appointment with the nurse and find I have to wait a week for it. It is for my diabetes review, so OK I'm not going to die.
They phoned this afternoon for me to see a doctor on wednesday (this week), but I am at work I say what is the earliest or latest I can have. The earliest is 9.45, the latest is 1.30. I'm like well I work full time so I can't make appointments in the middle of the day. So they want to know where I work so I tell them St. Pancras Station and you obviously don't use public transport because it is a two hour journey each way.
Anyway I now have an ppointment for the doctor (it's a locum) next wednesday at 11.55 (I am off next week) and withthe nurse on the 11th at 6.50 because the nurse is o n holiday next week.
I will keep the two appointments unless they are changed in the mean time and then change doctors because I am (several naughty words) withthe treatment/service I get.
Signed cross and fed up of South London
