Leave a comment on the BBC website as to how the NHS could improve the service and stop the waste of money being used for Diabetes.
As a Type 2 I feel that education is sadly lacking for many Type 2's and the use of a meter and test strips is frowned upon. This is a false economy as you cannot manage your diabetes if you do not know what your blood sugar numbers are and complications cost a lot more, as stated in this article it is 80% of the budget.
Don't know about Type 1, I am sure there must be something that members would like to say?
