Group 7-day waking average?

5.7 this morning and 7 day average at 6.1.
Big shop today and I seem to have developed a preference for Aldi. But there are 5 biggies within 2 miles so I'll just jump in the car and let it take me where it will. And then a big attack on a Marestail invasion.
The roots of that seem to go down to Australia, very hard to get rid of, persistence is the only thing that works. Bindweed is the other pain to get rid of.

Morning, 5.7 for me today.
I couldn't access the site yesterday for some reason, but my BG was 5.3.
Yesterday for husband's birthday we had a fantastic day out at Chartwell, former home of Winston Churchill and family. It's a beautiful place but lots of hilly woodland to walk through! We particularly enjoyed the Marycot house Churchill built for his youngest daughter, the many animals including beautiful black swans and Jock the cat, and Churchill's art studio.
Today will be a bit quieter, lots of jobs to get on with.

Morning all. Another grey day here, but a happy 5.4 for me earlier.

Have a great day folks, and stay well...

6.0 on a Berkshire morning that started off bright and sunny but has now clouded over. Cool, too - I've just put on a sweatshirt. Plans for today include some ironing - things I need to pack for our holiday - and a dentist appointment. Not sure whether I can fit in my usual Thursday swim.

Congrats @Bloden on your HS

Whatever your plans, enjoy the day.

I've just spoken to Abbott and they're replacing the sensor, after first telling me to see the GP about my levels. The readings this morning are +3/+4 higher, are very erratic, one minute in the 8s next shooting to over 12. I've had a reading this morning of 14, finger prick was much lower. When i applied it yesterday, the applicator stalled for a second before carrying on. I wonder whether that is the problem.

Afternoon all.6.6 for me this morning. Congratulations to @ Bloden on your Hs today.@Colinuk your giving us Colins a bad name .Might change mine to Candy Also congratulations to @ Lanny on your Hs today.Nice to hear from @ Martin a Enjoy your day people
Colin if you took me to that lovely Country Tea Room you always seem to frequent then I would be happy to call you anything you like.
Especially if the Bedlington’s came along as well.

They might nick your scones though!

Once again I am late late late. It's been a mixed day weatherwise. I seem to be becoming a "lady that lunches".

Waking BG was 5.0 at 08:10. I met my friend at the Jubilee pool cafe at noon. She ordered a smoked salmon salad and I have to say her helping of smoked salmon was more than generous with a lovely mixed bowl of salad. I ordered Chicken Sate wrap. Well, I understand Chicken Sate to be chicken in a delicious spicy peanut sauce. I've eaten it many a time in the far east. The thing I got was in something that resembled a french dressing with some chilli in it - not a peanut in sight! I was really disappointed. I complained mildly and the nice lady swapped it without a murmur for a prawn salad because she agreed with me.

After lunch we walked into town, encountering several "nutters" who insisted on bending our ears on the way. One gent, who caught us as we took a short cut through the churchyard, wanted to close the C of E church to all but club members or persons who held keys. As we explained, but did not convince him "The church is open to all".

We then got a shock in Specsavers when my eyedrops were an eye-watering £11+.

Congrats to all the HSers... nice to see @Martin.A and @ColinUK back. Have a good day, what's left of it!

6.1 rising to 9.1 at Brekkas, on a cooler morning and it stayed cloudy all day with no breeze to speak of. I was late to breakfast and it collided with my support.

I woke in psychosis this morning and had voices shouting at me upto 1pm, I had a real torrid time of it, leaving me with a headache and brain fog after the extra Haliperidol tabs I had to take, so never got to play pool with K. I felt very bad not informing him until last minute. But then it usually leaves me after 20-30 min after a tab, just unlucky today. Very dopey later.

I went for a late afternoon walk around the block, only panicked once half way; so not to bad, I walked for 1Km; further than my usual up and down our road. It didn't have any noticeable effect on my BG, neither did lunch or the small amount of insulin I took for lunch. They averaged 7.4 - 7.6 all afternoon no matter what I did/didn't do... odd.

Congratulations @Bloden on todays HS, and to @Lanny for your bedtime HS.

Have a good evening everyone, hope you've all had a fantastic day.
