Group 7-day waking average?

7.8 rising steady towards brekkas of 9.6.
A lovely day here but just a teeniest bit hot after an uncomfortable night on top of the duvet.
Didn't think yesterday was warmer than today, steady away for the rest of the week at 24C.

I was really stressed out yesterday with my Lady and her close friend. Going to be more stress later methinks. Not looking forward to the visit from R.

Played pool at lunchtime with.K, but he wasn't up for the 7/8 games we usually have, instead just 4. He couldn't get into them letting me win 3-1

My Lady is out atm sampling the delights of the food market on the prom. It looked busy when I was there this morning.

Have a good day wherever you find yourselves and stay safe.

I've just reported my sensor to Abbott as it was reading very low (at least 2mm below FP) plus it was itching like mad. So I just said it had fallen off, which it did with a bit of help from my fingernail. When I took it off the filament was bent at a 90 degree angle, which I guess explains the problems I was having.

They are sending a new one 🙂
I had one just the same on Tuesday I hadn't activated it as I always give it 2 days but I bled when I put it on which has happened a few times without any issues, then a couple of hours after my arm was itching, it had already come away from most of the skin and I just pulled the rest off it was just like yours and covered in blood, I reported it and got a replacement today.

There was a bit of blood on it but not much, I put it a bit further back on my arm than I usually do to give the regular areas a rest, but the itching was driving me mad. Even if Abbott hadn't replaced it, I would have ripped it off because of that itch!

is your arm ok now? I had a lump come up and its bruised its going down now but still sore, I have left off putting a new one on for a few days

I don’t watch it until will into the finals these days. There’s just far far too many heats.
60 contestants! I’m sure there was never that many. Five weeks of heats! I do enjoy it but The Professionals is still my favourite format. I don’t care if I miss the “celebrity” version. If I want to watch folks who can’t even boil an egg I’ve plenty of friends I could visit!

Evening all.
It was 5.4 for me this morning but didn’t get a chance to post.

Nothing special for me to report today. Not a bad day at work - a tiny bit cooler but, as I was on visits, at least I could blast the car's air con driving from one house to another.

Sadly (or not, as the case may be!) I can now see my shifts on my phone. No claiming I thought I had annual leave for the whole of September

Is anyone else watching Destination X, if you are what do you make of it? Some of the contestants seem a bit dim, or maybe I should say ill-informed
We watched the first one and about half of the second before losing interest. We have been watching Under the Bridge on itv/itvx which is based on a true story.

Silly o’clock zone again but, it’s a good silly o’clock zone as I’m catching up on lost sleep: unfortunately it’s impossible to completely catch up & lost sleep IS lost; just catch up a bit more & feel better for it!

14/08/25 22:29 BS 7.1.🙂 But, again a teeny drift down so, cooking 00:27 BS 5.7. And cooking brought it back up to 00:53 BS 8.0.

A Very Good Morning coming up & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Morning all. A surprising 7.7. Not sure why as I had a low carb tea, roasted chicken leg with loads of roasted veg. At first I thought I'd forgotten my bedtime basal but checked this morning and I had injected. Went to bed on 7.1 and stayed almost the same all night.

Farmers' daughters will arrive at 9am for their two night all inclusive mini break. We have absolutely zero plans made. Ah, we'll just wing it, as long as they're fed they'll be ok.

Have a fab Friday.

Morning all. 🙂 7.4 here.

My G6 sensor has settled down nicely and is working fine.

We had a nice lunch out yesterday in a little seaside town called Tapia de Casariego. There were less tourists there than we expected - it was holiday let change-over day, so that probably had something to do with it. It's one of my fav places in the area - beautiful beaches, a little harbour and lots of nice bars and restaurants.

The weather forecast says 30° today, but the cloud cover and overnight rain says different. I've had to stop watching the Spanish news because it's wall-to-wall wildfires and people that've lost everything - villages, houses, farms, animals...shocking.

Anyhoo, out with the dogs then orchard clearing. I hope the heat isn't unbearable wherever you all are.

Morning a 7.4 for me and a fairly flat line after a protein before bed as was a little low.
Still trying to juggle insulin and carbs to get BG down a bit more and not best nights sleep but up early and feel refreshed now but sure it will hit me later.
Felt tired in the heat yesterday so trying to take it a bit easier but have morning meeting and only a local trip out.
Took one of dogs to Vets yesterday for routine check up and yes she needs a dental which we have known for a while so that is booked in now for next week.
Looking forward now to w/ end and currently watching my Wife’s surgeon on Breakfast TV discussing Surgery abroad so sure she will want to catch up later as she has gone back to bed.
HAGW and even better Friday

Morning all, it was a 6.6 for me this morning, I took the pooch to the beach again last night. Larry is away for the weekend so we will be car-less for the next few days.
Tonight I'm going out for a curry with a few friends to celebrate my upcoming birthday 🙂 curry maybe not such a good idea given that it's supposed to get up to 29 ° today!

6.1 today.

Back in clinic today - me and my old battered desk fan! But then I have a 3 day weekend to look forward to so that's nice!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all
Had a very bad night due to my knee (sorry to post about it again) have been in communal dining room since 2am. Had abput two and a half hours sleep. Thank goodness for my tablet I can stream Netflix plus others on. Have watched Bend it like Beckham a film I love and Masterchief lots of them.
BG was 6.3
Hope you all have a good safe happy day. Take care as always special wishes to anybody on their own and or struggling
Love and hugs
Gail

GM to everyone

Pedalling away on the bike and my bg was 5 4 this morning.

Hope it is a cooler day.

Happy Friday

Morning all. A surprising 10.3 for me. No idea why and its been like that since about 1am so the graph says.

Not much planned today, feeling very tired although i had a lovely day with my friend yesterday, mooching around shops, stopping for coffee and lunch. I think today will be more about changing bedding, reading, maybe some craft. I need to do the dreaded cleaning of windows at some point, but maybe not today.

Forecast is 28° feeling like 30°. It said that yesterday as well and it wasn't, it definitely felt cooler but today looks like its going to be warmer already.

@Bloden that sounds like my kind of place, lovely.

Thanks for the tip off will put it on my to watch list Cheers is it good
It was quite shocking actually because it is a true story about the murder of a 14 year old in Canada by her peers. Riley Keogh is in it (Elvis's granddaughter).

Have a good day everyone.
