Group 7-day waking average?

It was the Grove, Byker. My critical judgement may have been impaired due to lack of a meal for a couple of days.
I don't know if you drove there but if you did, the miracle isn't that you had excellent pizza but more that your car still had wheels after a night parked in Byker!

I strongly suspect that the diet coke I had wasn't diet as my BG shot up from 10.9 to 14.4 in about 25 min.
Sounds like it. I read a while ago that I should always ask for a bottle or a can, so that I know it's diet. If they only have draught I opt for a bottle of still water rather than risk it.

I am so focussed on recording things that I completrly forget to put my BG up here

BG 5.0

My wife is happy, yessss

Morning folks and folkesses.

6.0

BP this AM a much more acceptable 110/75

Fell asleep listening to a Stephen King audiobook. Had nightmares. I’m thinking these two factors may have been related.

Morning all. 3.4!!! Had juice and waiting for it to go up so i can have breakfast. I had a hypo dream about trying to log onto a computer and being told i should be able to when i actually couldn't.

Good morning everyone, still here in Turkey although the holiday has been somewhat overshadowed by bad pain in my back. I shelled out to see an osteopath the other day in desperation, and for the equivalent of £30 I had over an hour of massage, manipulation, acupuncture, tens, a heat lamp and kinesiology taping! Came out feeling like I'd been run over but there is a significant improvement in the pain so I think it was worthwhile.
Today mum and I, mum's friend and her friend are heading up into the mountains for brunch at a beautiful restaurant.
Woke up with a 4.9 today. BGs have been rather erratic due to eating things I shouldn't, but I am going home on Wednesday and the party will be over.
Have a great day everyone 🙂

Morning all. 🙂 8.0 for me.

I was glued to my phone yesterday afternoon waiting for my DSN to phone. She eventually emailed to say she’d just been too busy and she’ll phone on Monday. The DSNs are all lovely and work really hard, but I’m pretty fed up by now - yesterday was another day of spiking up to 17 before crashing down two hours later...this is no way to live.

Anyhoo, hubby wants to go exterior paint shopping <groaning emoji> so I need to distract him with something more ‘important’...going out for a coffee, for example, much more interesting!

yesterday i had my app at hospital didt get back till 250pm Staff rang nurse to come do my insulin and she got here at 415 she rang Gp to find out if to give whole amount of it BG was 8.0 GP At said obmit dose and return to normal dose/time tomorrow, but to keep cheaking it and to ring 111 if need be At 9pm it was 7.3 at 1025 pm it was 6.5

Morning a 4.6 for me and a lowish night bumping along in the 4s even after no correction dose to deal with Pizza and nothing in the night plus a protein bar before bed.
Pizza was lovely as usual and another good day yesterday and included a couple of trips to tip with garden rubbish which I always find therapeutic.
One sad thing this morning was a dead bird found on our patio steps which at first my wife thought may be a Blackird or it’s baby which have be one very tame as she feeds them who follow her into the shed and she has become very attached too.
However when she went out later they both appeared so they were fine but still sad.Not sure what happened to other bird but sad.
We have local Transport Festival this w/ end so maybe walk into town later for a look at displays but attracts folk from miles around.
Relaxing day today and looking to enjoy nice weather as busy start to next week.

Morning All - 7.5 for me this morning. Had a lovely day yesterday with @eggyg and Brian visiting to talk all things Outer Hebrides. I am very tempting to hide in their suitcase but bearing in mind the size of Camille's boot and the clothes rationing that has to take place to fit all the camera equipment in I think that would be selfish of me! I'm off the World Marmalade Festival at Dalemain today with my Mum & Brother - there's a beautiful garden there and we will look round the mansion too and see all the 3000 entries to the competition dotted around all the rooms. I hope you all have a fabulous day xxx

Morning all. 6.6 on this rather late morning, for me. Went to bed early to read as Mr Eggy watching the snooker, don’t think I lasted ‘til 10. I was fast asleep with book in hand and glasses on when he came to bed and it was only 10.15! Then I woke at 3.30, loo, then tossed and turned until about 5, I was determined not to get up and eventually dozed off until 6.30. Loo again, dozed off and woke at 8.10 with a stinking headache. Ugh!

We had a lovely lunch and natter at @zippyjojo lovely home yesterday. Lots of top tips for Harris, and Lewis too. We’re getting very excited now, just seven more sleeps to go. Can’t wait. It’s a much needed break, been a tough few months.

Today, if the weather holds, we’re going to tackle the garden. I will join after my mountain of ironing is done. Just a simple tea of broccoli quiche tonight, which I’ve taken out of the freezer, so unusually for a Saturday, no cooking. I’m trying to eat what we have as I don’t want to go food shopping this week. So it’ll be fridge and freezer gravel meals! Could be interesting. 😛

Have a good day.

You’re not wrong! No suitcase, just a soft hold-all to fit all our clothes in so it can be squashed in the corner! It’s like Tetris getting everything in, I’m not allowed to do it.

5.6 on another one of those mornings with no sun and the sky the colour of milk. Mini heatwave in the forecast for next week, though. I hope they're right.

Our two boys are off to Millwall v Swansea City today so my wife and I will be able to crack on with the decorating while there's just the two of us here, always assuming she doesn't want to watch the Pope's funeral on tv being as she's Catholic. Neither of them are around tomorrow either, one at work and the other in Derby, so the plan is to try and get it all done and dusted this weekend if we can.

Enjoy your Saturday.

Morning

4.9 off shopping then to knit and natter today.

Will have more phone calls to make on Monday as more post arrived at FIL house, not sure what the solicitor did after the eviction, but all she managed to do was get everything put back in to late FIL name.

Threaten to buy a roof rack for her one time.

Good morning. 5.8. Not sure where that came from as ate chocolate hobnobs yesterday afternoon.
Resorting to web search today - cannot get angle adjuster at knee to lock out movement despite doing what was shown me (at speed, once)
in hospital. Dare not risk trying crutches again without 100% imobilising it. Refuse to wait until 1 May when physio supposedly coming - by which time I should be opening up angle.
Freind dropped in for chat yesterday evening and promises to return with husband before they set off for the Highlands. He is a demon driver of a ride-on mower so should give the lawns a nasty shock.
Hope everyone has a brilliant weekend.
