Group 7-day waking average?

05:58 BS 9.3 & my overnight graph looks like a bit better valley: a gentle slope downwards from BS 15.6, the peak of my dinner meal, to just above BS 6 around 2am & a gentle rise from then, back up again.

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Breakfast first & then, the first lot of drops today. Yesterday was such a rushed day & I JUST about managed to squeeze in 3 meals & 2 lots of drops albeit very short interval between & I actually wasn’t that hungry after the GP trip but with BS in the 17’s by then I needed to have SOMETHING with a max dose of 60NR: I ate the remaining one, of a pair, of Danish vanilla crowns leftover from 2 days ago that I’d thought of chucking out with a cuppa; good thing I always put such Danish pastries & fresh bakery items into Ziploc bags straight away so, it was actually still quite moist although, obviously not as nice as when it was fresh! On my weekly shops I like to treat myself to sushi, I love it, & sometimes but, not always, a fresh bakery item like Danish pastries that they only do in pairs as they stopped doing the singles ages ago! 😛

My drops application was uneven yesterday as I’m learning how hard to squeeze the capsules as each has exactly two drops in them: first time I only squeezed a tiny bit in my left ear & squirted all of the remaining into my right; second time I was determined to squeeze more into my left & squeezed so hard that almost all it went in that straight away stated to run out from my overfilled ear & there was an even tinier bit left for the right ear! o_O So, the crux of the matter is how hard to squeeze it to get it evenly into both ears?

Morning a 6.9 for me but a line lower overnight and getting my BG down to an average of 6.5 and TIR up at 97% so happy with that.
@Gwynn OA is a progressive condition with cartilage breakdown and is irreversible but can be managed well with medication and physio etc.
You would need to check with GP but your X Ray will show any damage hence their diagnosis but it does not always reflect what pain you may or may not be in.
Pain can vary as the pain receptors become very sensitive ( central nerve sensitisation) plus you can get peripheral effects as well hence need for analgesia which reduces inflammation to dampen down these receptors.
Lovely day yesterday with an ice cream in Llangollen though weather was not nice but such a nice place.
My morning appointment has been cancelled so WFH including finally upgrading to my new work phone ( which I hate to do) but have to send old one back and I dont have a personal mobile so need to get it sorted.
Have a follow up appointment with dog and sure Vet will be pleased as he is doing great.
Chased up prescription which should be on its way but want it before Easter ( have plenty of Creon) but need new sensors but have over a week left on this one.
Have a great day

Morning all, 6.2 here.
OH put his trail cam out the night before last, and caught a muntjac in flagrante, snacking on the last remaining tulip that was out. The ones still in bud now have wire netting round them! There were two muntjacs, one looked about half the size of the other, and was zooming round the lawn, a youngster I assume. We also caught a large hedgehog on camera, always good to see.

Morning all. After a high reading yesterday morning, levels settled down in the day and stayed mainly in range. But before bed again last night i dropped into the 4s so had a very small handful of peanuts. Graph shows levels shot up overnight again and stayed high all night (i don't remember the alarm going off but it must have) and i've woke to 13.3 which suddenly dropped to 10.4 with a downward arrow. Feeling very fed up with it all atm.

Morning all. Score on the door, 6.4.

Had a fab lunch with my three friends yesterday, the last time we were together was at the funeral of one friend’s husband, she looked well, albeit a bit thin, she said she’s lonely on a evening but has a very supportive daughter. Two of my closest friends lost their husbands last year, I’ve known both of them over 30 years, it’s very sad, and sobering, that this is the time of our lives that we’re in. We did have a laugh and reminisced about our past, we worked together many years ago, three hours we were sat in the cafe, I think the staff thought we’d taken root!

Busy day today, the farmers’ daughters are arriving about 10.30, brought to us by their other grandma as mum and dad busy lambing. They are staying over tonight and we’re all travelling to Center Parcs with middle daughter and baby grandson tomorrow, ( eldest granddaughter coming after work with her boyfriend), it’s looking like their parents won’t be coming, we knew there was a high probability of that and had organised them to stay in our lodge along with youngest daughter and her family. Their brother is coming on Saturday, he couldn’t get Saturday off, but he’s finishing early at 3pm. We’re all comimg in dribs and drabs! He’s staying in the other lodge with middle daughter and her family, room for eldest daughter and son in law if they can get away, albeit separately! The life of a farmer, never ending, but their choice and they love it for some reason. The girls are very, very excited, they don’t get many holidays, unless it’s with us, although they have been to Center Parcs about three or four times previously with their parents out of lambing season! They’re not that hard done by!

Have a great day all.
@MeeTooTeeTo congrats on your HS.
@Lisa65 have a fab holiday, I’m jealous of the warmth, it’s 7 degrees here!

Morning all. 🙂 4.9 here, wow! Is the algorithm learning my insulin needs all of a sudden...I hope so.

It’s sunny again! After yesterday’s wash-out, I can finally get back out into the garden for some more gardening fun. Lots to do today!

Morning all.

6.4

Two show day today. Off to Southwark Playhouse to see the new musical version of Midnight Cowboy. The critics have not been kind as it’s completely done away with the gay plot and made it straight. We shall see.

Then it’s a quick jaunt to Sadler’s Wells East (fast becoming my favourite venue) to see Ballet L’Orient’s Snow White. Apparently it’s very dark and moody.

As for me, I had another one of my dizzy turns yesterday. If I have another today then I’ll contact the GP and report both and see what they say even though I’m booked in for blood tests next week. I’m guessing that they may expedite the referrals or suggest jumping the queue via an A&E referral. Hopefully I won’t have one today and my forward thinking will be moot.

Volunteered yesterday at Queer Britain and did a very speedy rainbow eye. I think I did it ok but could do with slightly deeper pigmented options and a little less blending but I was happy with the overall result.

@eggyg If you need extra hands helping at Centre Parks then just ask!

Wall-to-wall blue sky this morning, and the sun's busy clearing the overnight frost. No rain in our forecast so looks like we're in for a decent day. Might do some garden maintenance once it's warmed up a bit, now that I've finally finished painting our summer house. Well, the outside anyway.

Congrats Dez @MeeTooTeeTo on your HS. I could only manage a 5.5 this morning.

@Robin - we have a trail camera in our garden but the only thing it picks up overnight is someone's blasted cat looking for somewhere to do its you-know-what

Thursday, so swim before lunch as usual. Leisure Centre's been quite busy during the school hols but fortunately the main pool gets cleared at midday for lane swimming.

Have a good day, all.

Cats and wildlife don’t mix. We used to pick up little bank voles scurrying along the top of a low retaining wall, but since our neighbours got two cats, that’s all we ever catch on the cam if we put it out the back. I hope the bank voles have moved somewhere safer, rather than been eaten, but I’m not optimistic.

Don’t need help with the kids but can you come and do my eye makeup? As I’ve got older I tend to skip the eyeshadow and I’ve always been rubbish at a smokey eye and blending! 😛
Sure! As long as I get to pick the look!

Good morning was 7.9 today ok a bit high but not really unexpected

yesterdays awaited phone call turns out wasn’t from a GP at all, but someone wanting to review astma & some (but not all) of my meds, I have just spoken to surgery I’m scheduled to speak to another Dr (on the 22nd)

new internet service is now running and although I hadn’t asked for it have apparently got a credit of £31.32 just applied to my account (compensation for not going live last Friday) so that’s a result !

few jobs to finish off around the bungalow today, my wife has made me aware I’ve started many things but not finished any
TBH that is the case, today will be focusing on getting some of them done & hopefully some before she is home from work tonight.
I had better get on with some of them in a minute

Congrats on the HS @MeeTooTeeTo

have a great day all

Morning

6.0 this morning, plans today are shopping for the fresh bits needed for tomorrow’s buffet and finishing off the baby cardigan my mum asked me to crotchet for her great granddaughter, she told me on Tuesday that she had decided to give the cardigan at the Easter Egg hunt.

@MeeTooTeeTo - congratulations on your HS

Congratulations also the all those who got HS yesterday.
