Are these readings done by pricking you finger? I've not been told to do this
its a mixture of people with CGM and finger pricksAre these readings done by pricking you finger? I've not been told to do this
I was also told by the GP not to finger prick, I thought it was silly advice, how would I know what food are ok or not? So, I bought a monitor, started a food diary to keep a check on stuff. Now I only bother when I eat new foods or I am simply curious. The GP has no idea. We are both happy. Are these readings done by pricking you finger? I've not been told to do this
Sorry what's a CGM?its a mixture of people with CGM and finger pricks
Continuous glucose management meter like Dexcom or Libre that is attached to body to give constant BG readings throughout the day and night.Sorry what's a CGM?
Try googling either of those Freestyle Libre or Dexcom and it will explain fully. Thanks for that, not heard of any of them before today
People are often not told to do it because GPs don't want to prescribe a monitor and test strips but many choose to self fund because it gives them control over managing their condition. Are these readings done by pricking you finger? I've not been told to do this
