If you normally take your Lantus in the evening, deduct the 4.5 units from your dose @Riggers If you normally take it in the morning, then you’ve had 4.5 units too much today so you’ll need to watch your blood sugar overnight. You might also consider reducing your next morning dose slightly.
Looking on the bright side, it’s much better muddling them up this way round than taking your rapid/bolus insulin instead of your basal.
Great to hear @RiggersEvening. Just wanted to say that my levels have pretty much followed their normal patterns overnight and today. I did take 3 units less of Lantus this morning.
