I had my review yesterday and I am not sure how I feel about the results.
So my HbA1c was 52, which is quite a bit higher than I had hoped. I told my consultant that I was not happy with that, but he told me he was really pleased. He looked at my Libre data and saw that hypos are rare, which he thought was fabulous. When I told him that 52 is not the low 40s that I strive for, his argument was that these are difficult times and he can only imagine the stress I have been under as a teacher during the pandemic on top of having a young daughter who hasn't been sleeping well at all over the past few months. Everything else was good; kidney function, cholesterol at 3.3...
So even though he was really positive, I am still somewhat disappointed with myself.
